Mother's Day....... Another Mother's Day without my momma. Momma went home to be with Jesus on November 7, 2001. A night that stays so fresh in mind, like it happened yesterday. She and I had become so close; it started when I was 24 years old. Now mind you up until then we had our mother daughter times, but I was never disrespectful. She would always say, "I don't care how old you get you betta watch what you say and how you say it when you are talking to me, because I am your mother." And we all know what comes after that, I bought you into this world.....and I would what?  Yeap take you out!!!!!   But you know as I got to know her, I began to see her for the strong woman that she was. Raising 13 children when my father walked out on her. And we were some crazy children. Fighting, skipping school, getting in trouble with the law and the list goes on and on............ But with all that, she was still there for each and every one of us. She still instilled in us to love God, pay your tithes, give back to your community, treat others the way you want to be treated, love your children and never give up on them, believe in yourself and have faith in God to do the impossible.

Mother's Day still doesn’t seem right without her being her. I miss her so much...... okay I am having a moment....... I do miss her so much, but I know that she is in the best care. And that is, she is resting in the arms of the One who loves her most.  Happy Mother's Day Ma.......... I look forward to seeing you the other side........ When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory...
