The Norfolk native, graduated from Norfolk State University. She is currently setting up her non profit foundation which will assist school aged children with reading, books and school supplies. This foundation will be in loving memory of her mother Verdell Brown. Theressa is most proud of her relationship she shared with her mother, her two beautiful children and knowing that there is "peace" available in the midst of any storm in life.
Theressa is the twelfth child of thirteen. If she has not learned anything out life, she definitely knows how to share. And that's what she does with her listeners on 95-7 R&B. She shares in their joy and pain of love and life. Theressa loves God, spending time with her children, and reading. She also enjoys promoting literacy through her Reading and Succeeding Program, visiting schools, daycares, churches and community centers reading stories to school age children.Theressa has enjoyed over ten years in radio and has loved every bit of it.
