Theressa Brown believes to whom much is given, much is required. She believes that God has put this passion in her heart to spread the importance of literacy throughout Hampton Roads with her program, Reading & Succeeding with Theressa. So for the past 5 years, Theressa has been reading to school aged children at schools, day cares and community centers. She shares with them some of her favorite stories and stresses the importance of literacy. For the past three years, Theressa has been adopting a school a year. She visits her adopted school every other week as well brings in special guest, and does a big SOL Pep rally.
